Might sell the 08 690

The 690, despite it being a stupid amount of fun, isn't getting much use.    My 400 and Tiger take care of the off road and on road well enough that the 690 is sorta stuck in the middle.

I'm not terribly serious about selling it until spring, but I figured I'd mention the pending sale here.

I'm thinking $5500.  Its really hard to find comparables.

Excellent (nearly perfect) shape
8200 miles, oil just changed
Brand new TKC80s, not mounted yet
CJ Design gas cap
FMF Q4 can
KTM EVO airbox cover
Has the EVO 1 map loaded
Oberon clutch slave cylinder

Tuning cable included.
Stock take-offs included.

The thing is ridiculously torquey.   Never ridden a thumper that is even in the ball park in terms of power.

And, just like that its sold.   I mentioned in one post on ADV that I might sell it, got a PM, and off it goes to Florida.

And yeah, it was a fun bike!   Wacked took it for a spin a while back.   I told him when he left "It'll make you giggle".   The first thing he did when he climbed off it was giggle.    And then mentioned something about a 3rd gear power wheelie.

No plans to add anything else.    The 'Tiger and 400 fill the needs real well.

I do have an old 80 CB750F I'm fixing up, then the VF1000R is next.
