I'd been thinking that someday I'd like to add a V-strom to the stable, just for those slightly more road oriented trips. At least that's what I thought until I saw the Stelvio...

I think I need one.
Guzzis are fun. My relatives own the Guzzi / Suzuki shop in town and I've gotten to ride quite a few them. This one looks like one I just gotta have.
I like the Griso real well too, but the Stelvio looks like the real deal.
That is frickin HOT! I like the styling much better than the Strom.

And your relatives OWN THE SHOP??!! What are you waiting for?? 8)
Griso looks nice, too, for an all street machine. Reminds me of the V-Max (always wanted one of those).

last month's rider mag did a write up on that ds guzzi. i'll bring my copy of it to the hills on the 20th if you haven't already read it.
Looks cool! I agree with your comments on the styling of this bad boy v. the V-Strom.
But --- can you get armor for the cylinder head/header like the Beemers have? Looks kind of precarious just hangin' out there.
The Guzzi shop has one of these on the floor now. Wow.. is it cool. Very, very comfortable. Great seat and the seat is also adjustable height.
Sounds awesome too. Someday.... maybe...
