Has anyone here made an ABS switch for their wee? I've got a 2011 DL650 and would like to do this, but electrical makes me nervous.
Eastern Beaver sells a bypass switch... if you don't want to mess with making your own, that might be the way to go.

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I don't see an ABS switch listed there?
You have to scroll down, almost to the bottom of the page. He calls it "ABS Switching Adapter". You'd also have to buy a switch to plug into the harness, I think that's another 8-10 bucks. Maybe $30-40 total w/ shipping.
So not cheap, but it would save the hassle of having to do your own wiring.

Is this right? Looks like it needs a switch, but does it need any additional pieces to get it up to the cockpit?
Functionality wise, this set up seems better. You can switch on and off without cycling the ignition. Cheaper too.. Has anyone done this method?
Do you mean this thread?

It would be nice to enable ABS without an ignition cycle. I haven't done the mod since I don't own a strom.
Yes. Meant to link that.
His instructions actually look pretty straight forward... but I think it might be good to find a schematic for your 2011 and verify the wiring harness has not changed. He's snipping an orange with yellow stripe wire, hopefully it's the same on your bike.
I can't speak for the Wee but I did it on my Tenere. I used a fuse tap in the ABS motor fuse holder. It works well.
