Someone out there hasn't been totally honest with his Beta buddies and forum brethren. Maybe he wants to keep it a secret or maybe he's been busy. But, this reporter has learned today there will be a 2011 Beta 450 RR coming up for sale with very low miles in Rapid City. And, an extremely nice 2010 T-dub with 500 miles, its spotless. Both are for sale right now, but the prices are yet to be determined. Anyway, someone did some horse trading this weekend and is getting a new ride. I'll let him confess. :evil
Anxiously awaiting price on the TW200! Can I pre-dib with a price point clause?
Well when I saw your post Dave I had to pull another Kleenex. I have been having pretty severe sellers remorse on the Beta. For me parting with a bike is like throwing out my favorite dog. I have so many good memories with the Beta, twice to Moab, once to Nevada, and of course the hills. But with this anxiety separation problem bikes seem to multiple in the garage. I couldn't park in the garage last winter so I decided it was time to thin out the bikes on a two for one trade in. I let the Beta go knowing that this fall I'll probably get another one. Beta announces new bikes June 1st.,not long and 2nd year Inprovements to the FI could be coming The next two bikes to go are a fully farkled DR650 and a WR250R if any body is interested. The TW200 was a bike I built for my wife. When I finish mowing tonight, I'll do a write up on the Beta and the TW200, both have some special features.
I have no idea what happened in this thread. You Beta owners speak in some kind of strange code.
The references to horse trading, Kleenex, and mowing confuse me. Is Kleenex a code word for "wheelie"?
Dave don't reply to this. You're just going to confuse me.
I thought Beta's were fish? My kids had a couple. They pulled a Kleenex when I got rid of them too.
I don't know if Beta's are fish. But Nemo was a fish. He got flushed down the toilet, or something. In a movie. Finding Nemo.
Woo Hoo!!! Caught up to Lonesome Dave's post count.
I'm going to beat him to 1,000 posts.

This is easy, buy storage or build another garage. I got room, you can store bikes at my house!

I knew it.....
Harry, I'm sure the timing will be wrong, but let me know about the DR.
Dave, stop replying to every post. That technique is reserved for great buffalo, who has 2,000 posts or something.
Harry, I'd be interested in the 1190 if you have one for sale.
I think I've figured it out... when a Beta owner says "pull a Kleenex" this is what they really mean:
At this rate Jim, you'll be at a thousand posts by the weekend. ;)
I test rode the first year model 1190 in Sioux City where they would take the 2011 R1200GS on trade. I loved it and thought I would be getting it the next weekend. When I got home I found 60 some pages of problems on ADVRider and the number of pages went up in a week . I kept the Beemer because 2010-2012 are the best years with the HP motor and most importantly it was paid for.
Has the Beta sold?
Clay, the Beta and T-dub are at Rosco's in RC.
Call Rosco Motorcyles in Rapid City ASAP because you won't find two nicer used bikes.
If that video was pulling a kleenex, I'd be showing off to everbody.
Ok, they are not up on the website yet. I have a friend looking for a 450, got a hint on their asking price?
Clay I just sent you a pm.
10-4 I replied, Thanks Dave
1750
1751............... ;D
GB what your doing is wrong.
I don't mind it when GB does it because he's the Most Interesting Man in DDSR.
But when LD does it, it's just annoying.
I think there is a chance you guy's need to find better things to do with time? That being said, I am positive that is my old beta.
I thought Beta was an old time type of video recording, now they make motorcycles?
Next thing you know Dave will be riding a laserdisc.
God, I haven't laughed this hard for a while. I just hope visitors or new members aren't watching all this crap.
Did you know this thread has over 20% posts to the amount of views in one day!!

I do now!
I forgot what this thread is about. I think it was hi-jacked but I'm not sure.
This thread has certainly been hi-jacked.
Rosco's gave me the pricing on the two bikes.
T-dub $3000
2011 Beta 450rr $4000
Right on. Yeah I called him yesterday as well. Thanks.
4K for that 450 sounds like a real good deal to me.
Unlike most dealers who if they let you trial ride it's on paved parking lot, Roscos has a motocross and ravine area so you can really feel what a bike is like. I have a dangerous moto "Never pass up a demo ride." This is your chance to see how easy and smooth a powerful Beta is to ride. By the way Beta stands for Best Exotic Tool Available.
Very creative HP.
