Title: Harley Pan American
Post by: Fletch on July 01, 2021, 07:58:26 AM
Took the Pan American for a test ride last night. I have to admit I was impressed. engine is smooth and has plenty of power (it is geared crazy high but still pulls nice), suspension is a little harsh over sharp edged stuff but nice other than that. It is smaller (and not as ugly) in person and feels light. It reminded me a lot of a Super Tenere. If you are in the market or just curious I would check it out.

I really wanted to completely dislike and dismiss this bike, just cuz. That being said, I have not read or watched any review that either disliked or dismissed, quite on the contrary. They have some good ideas - hydroaulic lifters? Have been wondering why the rest of the world is still shim and bucket. I want to take one for a ride but feel weird walking into a Harley shop with the requisite t shirt, leather vest, assless chaps and the magic bandanna.
