Ok, so its a cross-post, sorry about that, but its the only way to get the photos to show. Network 54 is bad that way.
Minnesota 2010 was NOT a minnesota only riding event. A BIG chunk of it was in SD. 48 hour road rally. If you'r enot familiar with the format for Long distance rallies here is ow ti works. You are handed a list of locations, things like historical markers, old churches, places of interest, etc. Each place has a points value assigned to it. There are hundreds of places on the list, there is no way to visit even  half of them i the time alotted. YOu sit down with yrou maps, and points values and figure out where you wnat to go,  with the goal of getting the highest points total at the end of the ride. 85 competators entered and 85 different routes were ridden. In the case of the MN2010 it covered MN, SD, ND, NE, WY and MT. There was a mandatory checkpoint at Hill City at the half way mark.

awesome report.  what the hack lacks for in range it should make up for with 2 pilots (and the obvious cool factor).  the monkey can sleep when they take their turn in the chair.

You nailed it.
By the time the 190 mile fuel range was burned up, the rider was REALLY in need of a rest. The blasted WIND made driving the hack a bear. Fatigue came in to play a lot.
But  its a blast on the gravel roads in the Black Hills.
