Title: O rings
Post by: Fletch on May 15, 2016, 04:03:23 PM
Replaced the fuel filters on the 1190 and the o ring that seals the pump to the tank ripped. I found one at ace hardware and installed everything. Works fine, no leaks, but is an o ring an o ring, or do I need Viton due to fuel contact?

Nitrile should be fine too.

Hear is a great article on Buna-Ns uses. The only thing to worry about. Is that the durometer  is sufficient to handle the pressure, if any.
