Title: Stelvio time!
Post by: Lee Bruns on October 21, 2010, 06:09:55 PM
I got to borrow a Moto Guzzi Stelvio from the Motocycle Shop here in watertown. I had it three days. WOW, what a machine? I did not leave the pavement with it since it was a loaner, but ooooh did I ever want to. Obviously it compares to the BMW R1200GS but costs about 5000 bucks less.
1200cc cour valve per cyl.
Anyone else ever get a chance to ride one? WOW I loved that bike.

I need to twist their arm into a test ride.  I love it too, even though I've never ridden one.

Something like this could really turn heads at the DDSR June 2011 rally. I'm talking about the bike...  ;D

Didn't honda make like a v65 and a v75 or somthin like that?  I seems like they called it a magna?  I talked to a guy that got a good scare doing a buck 65 on one of those 75's.  I love the looks of that bike. I would LUST after the chance to flail this bike thru the hills.... I'm just sayin.

Honda had a flying V but not the Adventure tour styled.
Still kind of giggling at how much fun that Stelvio was.
Just handed back the V7 Classic Moto Guzzi today, took posession of the GT750 Water Buffalo again. BUT now I have a DRZ250 parked in my garage, so all is well in Who-ville.
