I live in Minnesota but really like spending time in the Dakotas. I have a few bikes including a 2003 F650GS. I would like to ride the hills but have no idea where to to start. Looking for some riding friends that can show me the ropes. Any suggestions for events or rides i should put on my calendar?

Welcome. As Ziggy mentioned, The Spring Rally will be in June and is a great time to meet all the folks and see who you get on with for future trips.
