The American Motorcyclist Association hopes you'll consider attending the next meeting of the Black Hills National Forest Advisory Board. The board typically considers topics such as wild and prescribed fire, fuels reduction, controlling insect epidemics, invasive species, and, of particular interest to AMA members, travel management and continuing access to and multiple-use management of public lands.
The public is invited to the board's meetings, as they are to all federal advisory committees. Anyone wishing to make an oral statement at the meeting must request to do so in writing by Monday, April 10, using the contact information below. Statements must be three minutes or less. Members of the public may submit written comments to the board at any time.

Agenda items for this meeting include updates on road maintenance, the nonmotorized trails working group, recreation site analysis and the 2017 fire season outlook.
When: 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19

Where: Forest Service Center, 8221 Mount Rushmore Road, Rapid City, S.D.

For more information, contact Scott Jacobsen, committee coordinator by phone at (605) 440-1409 or by email at sjjacobson@fs.fed.us. You also can visit the board's website for past meeting minutes and more.

Thank you in advance for attending and/or commenting. If you do submit comments, please forward a copy to us at grassroots@amacycle.org. Please forward this alert to your friends and ask them to attend this meeting, too.

Now more than ever, it is crucial that you and your riding friends become members of the AMA to help protect our riding freedoms. More members mean more clout against the opponents of motorcycling. That support will help fight for your rights - on the road, trail and racetrack and in the halls of government.
