January ride

It was a beautiful day, 71 degrees, so I had to skip out of work at lunch time and go for a ride. Headed out to Farmingdale (aka railroad Buttes OHV area) for a little ride. Climbed to the top of the butte

The way down had me a little worried, but it went fine.

Headed south the to badlands like stuff and screwed around on a few hills for a while

Rode to the top

Then down into the creek beds

The 990 took everything in stride and I was pretty confident, but I still didn't try this one (I've never made it on my 300 so no way on the adventure)

Then it was back across the prairie for a while

I must admit there were Dakar dreams dancing in my head

Got about 60 miles in off road and another 60 on the way there and back, not bad for January in South Dakota!
