For Sale to a good home.......1990 Kawasaki KLR250, around 7k miles, has some problems.  I found it on Craigslist Tuesday morning, I knew (or at least thought I did) that it would go fast at the listed price of $650.  I went and looked at it and took it home for less money!  Here's the deal, I've heard numerous members talking about buying an older dual sport bike for their wife, kids or just an extra.  I bought it just in case someone here needs a project for winter.  If not, I'll keep it and fix it up.

I actually paid $525, but minor expenses I have around $550 in it.  So if anyone here at DDSR would be interested I will sell it for the $550.  If your need, I can store it with my other bikes.  No hurry to pickup I have lots of room.  It needs new tires, fork seals, and the cam chain is making noise, but it starts right up.  Hopefully someone here will fix her up and ride it to the spring rally!  If not, I will eventually fix it up and make a buck or two.  I have more pics if needed.  call me 605-381-7155    LD

1st time posting pics...........hope it works!

Nice find, but my paddock is full right now.  I should get rid of a couple even.  Good Luck, it should sell well fixed up this spring.
Time heals all wounds. But it usually leaves a pretty big scar.

Great, Jacin decided to wait.  It doesn't have electric start and it was for his wife.  But, he did figure out it's a 6 speed, which is great. So, its still available.  Call me or pm me. LD

Hey if the other back out, I'm in! Looking for one my kid can use as a project for his tech program.

Let me know.

I haven't gotten here very often lately. You miss stuff when you play hooky. :-\

I wondered why this wasn't destined for Africa. Good show.

i've been (ahem) feeling guilty for moving a little too quickly on some of the smaller, cheaper dual sport rides that come available on this site.  was sitting back making sure that no one else needed it.  sounds like GB can use it which is awesome.  if not, i'll make sure it takes a nice long boat ride.

Will be sending Dave a check as soon as I get home on Thursday. Will give my kid a good project for powersports program at Mitchell Tech. Will try to get it out for the MC Show in April but definitively will have it ready for the Spring rally.

I know GB would love if someone could take it with them in back of the pickup to Mitchell in the near future.  It can be dropped off at a cycle shop right near Cabelas in Mitchell.  So it would only take a second if someone was traveling through.  I will make every effort I can to help with loading on this end.  In-fact it could be picked up at my work and loaded with our loading ramp.  Just let one us know.  Thanks.
