Thats a cool bike but a little steep for my blood right now. I wouldn't have the time to invest in it.

I've been eyeballing that Yamaha IT200 out your way thats on CL. I emailed the owner and may look at it when I'm out that way to pick up the KLR from Lonesome Dave. Just don't know how big a problem it would be to repair the tranny. The owner says the clutch is out and its stuck in 4th gear.

i am really likeing the jap cafe bikes right now. i keep browsing the photos at "iron & air" on facebook. a fun little commuter to burn tires off would be great.  So many bikes, so little cash.

thats almost as bad as when they cant put a size on gear and appaeral. What do you expect, he's in SF.   ha.    GB i like that 650, but since i ordered shocks it would have to be super cheap. same reason i cant get the trials on colorado, or the kawa in SF. i want them all.

The bike runs great. It has a couple of oil leaks, but other then that, i have had it on the road. I got it from a guy who loved my BMW hack. He asked me is i was intrested in his bike. I asked him what it was, he showed me a picture of it on his phone and i bought it right there with out looking at it.

You are right, the bars are gone and i found a set of orginal bars that i put on the bike.

Its going to the ABATE show next week alone with the BMW Hack.
