Title: BMW 650 GS riders visiting from Mexico need mechanic
Post by: TrueSDGirl on August 29, 2015, 02:51:04 PM
Hi guys! A great couple from Mexico are traveling in the USA and Canada this summer and are staying with me in Rapid City for a few days. Dan's bike has been leaking oil and he needs to change a couple of seals and local shops are all telling him it will be a month before he can get it worked on. Would any of you know of someone or be able to help him tackle it in a garage in Rapid City? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a garage and basic tools, but my mechanic skills are poor at best.

Thanks so much, Fletch. Really generous of you. Dan might need more of an experienced helper as I think he wishes he had more mechanic skills himself. We have a garage and hopefully tools, but if we need something in the way of tools I might drop you a line. Again, thanks so much.

Give Lyle a call at speed pros in Piedmont. He's a Harley mechanic but a pretty decent guy. He might be able to help. Or check at roscoes.
