I am embarrassed to report this.

Last sunday, I was in Rapid City.  I had our mini van and two boys and 2 hrs to kill.  I took them up to dinosaur park and then thru skyline drive.  I was more than a little suprised how hard the vertigo hit me.  I was trying to drive and look over the edge and the pucker factor just kicked in! There were a couple of blind corners that were wet and steep.  I met a guy on a sherpa as he was turning around.  It appeared he thought otherwise.  I wonder if I'll be able to handle riding in the hills at the summer rally!

I get vertigo pretty bad at times, but I happen to work on skyline drive...I'm glad it doesn't hit me every day driving to work, that would suck. 

Today was interesting coming up the hill with the fresh snow over a layer of frozen rain.

I would venture to say that the mini van was probably the cause and I am not knocking the mini van. We get you on a bike up there and you will probably be leaning into the corners dragging a peg.
