I'm looking for a bike for my oldest daughter.    She's 12, but VERY tall for her age (like 5'8").    After seeing a CRF150F, I think that's what I should get her.   If anyone sees one, let me know!

2006 is the first yr of E-start, so it needs to be that or newer.

Budget is <$1600.

Thanks for the links.  That 230 is probably a good buy, but maybe bigger than what I want her to start on?

My brother-in-law just got a NICE 2007 CRF150 for 1300 and now I want to find that good of a deal, which may be impossible.

Also have you looked at the ttr 125 as an option.. you can pick them up pretty cheap, electric start from 03 on up.

I think only the LE model TTR has E-start.   I know a few versions don't but don't know the exact years.   I've looked at quite a few TTRs too actually.

Keep em coming :)

Edit:  Looked it up.    "L" means big wheel, "E" means Estart.   LE is a big wheel, E-start, so that would be what I want.

If you find something near the cities but don't want to make a special trip to check it out, let me know.  I'd gladly check take a look for you.

Would you be willing to take a look at that one?  That looks perfect.

I'll be over there in 2 weeks for super cross and could pick it up.

Hank

Thanks to John (Osnabrock) for the heads up and gracious offer to check it out for me, but I'm heading to MSP with cash in hand tomorrow.   Talked to the owner and he said it was purchased new in 06 and has never left the yard (original tires still on it) so it looks like a good deal to me.

Rock On! sounds like a great deal.
Did I ever tell you: " I HATE MUD!" ?

Hank

Got it home about 11pm last night.    Bike is as advertised.   Nearly new condition at a price below my budget, so I'm happy.    All the good deals are always a long way from home but that's life!
