I think your right, and the speedo only goes to 70. You can't go faster then the speedometer ::)
Ask cadet about a fast scooter. Sat in my garage for 4 months. Death machine! 180cc big bore, lowered and front brake only. Not sure how fast top speed was because it had mountain bike handlebars. No speedo!
