Post by: The Yeti on August 21, 2008, 03:03:46 PM
I stumbled on this website today:

Ordered the Moab DVD, let you all know if it's worth it.

Got the Moab DVD yesterday and watched it last night....NOT worth the $22. Lotsa talking, almost no riding video, nothing you can't learn by reading ADVRider. I'm disappointed.  :-[

What was that dualsport movie you guys talked about at the camp site? Might check if I can get it at the liabrary or video store.

I think Bret was talking about Dust to Glory.  I'm going to find that one.

"dust to glory" is awesome - its a documentary on the baja 1000

also watch "on any sunday"

it's the ultimate classic motorcycle movie, and a must watch.  it pretty much jump started the off road motorcycle popularity in the us in the 70's

there are several guys (j.n. roberts, malcom smith, etc) who are in both movies.  in their 20's in "on any sunday" and in their 60's in dust to glory.   it's kinda cool.

nothing to do with dual sporting, but "world's fastest indian" is a pretty good motorcycle flick too.
