Title: Tractor instruction manual tube
Post by: Jared on September 02, 2008, 07:53:24 PM
Got this installed tonight, figured I'd start a new topic so the "Packing List" thread doesn't get more hijacked. :)

Got two of 'em on the nine-fiddy! Handy, and CHEAP!

Couple tips: you can get rid of the yellow heiroglyphics <sp?> with a little carb cleaner or acetone, and make sure you plug the little holes on the sides with some silicon.

Last ride, my left one fell halfway off, so I removed both of 'em so I wouldn't lose it on a trail somewhere.

Had 'em mounted to my rear luggage racks with P brackets, obviously I need to figure out something more sturdy. The constant vibrations off-road took their toll on the thin metal brackets, and they just snapped. Maybe dropping her on the left side all the time had something to do with it....NAHHH!   ;D
