Judging by the trailer it seems to me that 5 or so guys ride the COBDR and make it some existential trip of self discovery. To  each his own yada-yada but I just wanted to know if these guys come off as a bit too dramatic to anyone else or if I'm just being a jerk cause I'm stuck at work and my 990 is ready to rip ... at home ... alone...in the garage.... w/ tank full of go(!!!!!!)

My opinion (rant). is that it is the typical overly dramatic crap we see everyday. seems everything everyone does these days is some great accomplishment that adds purpose to their life or leads them to discover something about themselves/others, and of course needs to be documented and shared.  I guess I like the old guys better, you know " I went for a ride, it was fun" as opposed to someone doing the same thing and making a movie about it. That said, I'll probably watch it anyway just because it has motorcycles and dirt ???

Good grief... this movie is just begging to be spoofed.

I wonder if it has a shot of two riders doing a fist bump on their bikes while riding. That's one of my favorite idiotic moments.

Hank

Lol, I'm glad it's not just me!  But yeah I'll probably watch it so I can see motorcycles too.

Maybe I'll make a documentary next time I mount a tire.  It will be rated R due to language.

we could make a movie at the June rally. it would be epic! single track soul searching, fire road revelations, gravel road groveling, lies and deceitful stories, alcohol abuse, it's got all the makings of a great reality show! Jim could narrate it.

There is 2.5 minutes of my life gone  >:( .I will say they put some effort into the cinematography though. I will watch it as well, like Fletch said, bikes and dirt. Totally overdramatic. The trailer would make the non-rider think this is the first time a motorcycle has been ridden on the CDT or dirt for that matter.
"You don't know how fast you can go till you crash"

We'll have to think of a catchy title.

Silver Linings Crashbook

We Were Riders Once... and Bad

My Big Fat Greek Trail Ride

Million Dollar Wheelie

The Devil Wears Klim

The SugarShack Redemption

Apocalypse Nemo

Chariots of Chain Lube

The Good, the Bad, and the Ural

Rebel without a Clutch

Fletch

I like either of these:
The SugarShack Redemption - It was the longest trailride of his life

Apocalypse Nemo - I love the smell of 2 stoke oil in the morning.

I think this has Oscar potential

All you hard core old school riders.  I bet at the end of Moab, there was a tear or two.

I'm with the rest, I'll watch it because there bikes in it and has BMWs crashing.
Older - Wiser - Faster !

I have lots of tears, typically because "this was a bad idea"  ;)
I just don't want anyone else to know about it ;D

My tears are usually because I have too much dust in my eyes from following Dave.

We are a bunch of cynical ba$+@rds. I hate those sappy story lines too. What really frosts my backside is when people feel they have to provide an overtone of education or life lesson to justify themselves for having fun. And, sometimes they find other people to bank roll their endeavor.  Not that I wouldn't do the same if I were smart enough to talk some rich person or CEO into being my benefactor.

I like Apocalypse Nemo- "Never get off the bike, absolutely gosh darn right."

"I asked for a ride with Dave, and for my sin I got one."

Did I ever tell you: " I HATE MUD!" ?

It is all about the new age of self importance. You have to let everyone now about every thing your doing and how great you think you are for doing it. For example Face book, and some of the ignorant crap people put on there about them self's.

The radio show I listen to on my morning commute takes the top ten box office movies and makes porno titles out of them so sorry for the head in the gutter.
