there are some cheap ims like footpegs for the klr650 on ebay for $18 shipped.

i couldn't spend $80+ on pegs but i'm sure gonna order up a set and give them a try.

I use them and they are great. The IMS are bigger but for $20.00 who cares as long as they keep your feet on the pegs.

I have read that some of the less expensive pegs have a slightly different offset than the stock pegs, did you notice any difference or compromise in legroom?

None. Only issue I have noticed is that I need to get the lowering brackets in order to use motorcycle boots because when I adjust my shifter it hits the engine case. I have heard about guys having to grind on their pegs a bit to get them to fit but mine fit as good as stock.
