Title: Moab April 16th - 23rd
Post by: drdon on April 01, 2017, 07:35:54 PM
Every year we meet in Moab for some riddin'
This started with the KLR Dual Sport Club years ago, but we moved it up to April for those up north aching' to get out on the trail after the long winter.
All are welcome, this year we have two from Wisc., one from Minn., two from S. Dak. two from Colo. and two from Ariz. and possible others.
We stay at the Big Horn Lodge and the Canyonlands Campground.
We ride Kane Creek to Hurrah Pass and beyond
The White Rim Trail full, or Shaefer Loop cut off.
The Sovereign Trail system
Sand Flats, and Porcupine Trail
Onion Creek, and many others.
We head out in one or two groups, meet for lunch, then get together for supper, hang out around the campfire etc.
Most bring 650's or 450/400's, though some travel on their Adv. bikes and ride the area on them.
If you have never ridden Moab and would like some guidance to the area, or if you would like to return, this is for you.

Hey Don.   We got a group of 12 or so going the end of April / early May.  There is a thread in the trip planning forum.
This will be my 4th year in a row.. I can't wait to go back!
