XCF is the enduro / cross country race bike. XCW or EXC would make a better trail bike.

690s are pretty cool all right! It's the KTM version of a KLR.. 100# less and double the HP.

Dave you should find yourself a nice 400 XC-W.. I'm really liking mine!

I really want to throw a leg over a 300 XC-W soon too. I'm not a big 2 smoke guy but they sure sound like the real deal.

If anyone's looking for a 350 this is a crazy price ($6999) on a new 2013 350 XCW-F. The dealer freight/prep and shipping to S.D. would probably bring it up to low $8k. I've also read KTM dealers won't ship new bikes anymore so that might be a deal breaker.
