She told me I could have a paint job, or a Beta. I think I made the right choice.

Nice, what size is it?
We might as well apply for the name change from dakotadualsportriders.com to dakotabetariders.com at the rate things are going around here. ;)
Oh hell ha! You rattle can that pickup, any color you want......maybe Red & White!
390, it's the one I rode at the fall rally. Just thought it was a funny picture a $10K bike in my $1K pickup. Having trouble with the speedo working now, have to dig in to some wiring. It started day one, quit working for a bit and started again. Getting more intermittent now. I'll check a couple easy things before hauling it back to the dealer.
My speedo doing the same thing. Beta cut the weatherproof connector off the wire from the speedo pickup and put a molex connector in line. My molex connector has failed, going to cut it out and solder wires together as the trail tec connector is still there.
Seems to be an issue with that era GMs. Rattle can fixes it just fine for a 20' job.
Its a farm truck right?
It's an everything truck, my daily driver. And thanks sandhill, I will check that out.
Grubbie, here's a couple of searches from BetaRider.org I've also read somewhere the magnet can fall off on the rotor.
