Title: Single Track 8257
Post by: torgo on April 22, 2015, 10:05:09 AM
Just an FYI, if anyone is riding single track 8257 you better bring a saw.

I wish I did yesterday.  I rode it West to East and it's a good thing I did.  I would have needed my trials bike to ride it East to West.  Tons of downed trees.  Someone had rode it before me not to long and there were work arounds for most trees, but some had to be jumped.  I did not take a photo of the worst of it.

This is the only one stopped to take.

Might have been my buddy and I not to long ago. I'll have to check on the map.
We had to do some thrashing to get around in that area and we definitely overheated in a couple spots.

8257 had tree issues last year. East to west you cannot even make the trail out, and they have logged on the east end. Seems like we had to do a lot of cross country to get through. West to East, you just keep going down hill till you get out, sorta  :o
