Found this on betarider.org  Click on the below link to read this man's plea.  He's asking for support from fellow riders.  They have very few people living there and needs help getting the Feds to listen.

Regretfully this petion was closed because it did not get enough signatures. For the first time in two years I road out at Farmingdale yesterday. I noticed that there wasn't anybody riding on the east side of the road so I thought great I won't have to worry about running into anybody when cresting a hill. Well when I got over there I found that almost everything has been closed. The government had to spend thousands of tax payer dollars to put in all those closed signs. I did not go over to the south west area-west of the fence put I noticed no fresh tracts that way so I would bet those nice hills over there have also been closed. The area was completely dry yesterday but in the past I have witnessed the Ford vs. Dodge mud rip ups that probably contributed greatly to the closers. Sadly even a Republican President would have a hard time in stopping these closers.i now see the east side of the road as only a nice practice trail for 500 pound plus adventure bikes. Soon we will only be able to ride electric trials bikes in our own yards.🙁

Farmingdale closures are a result of misuse. We complain about the liberals closing areas but the offroad world holds a lot of responsibility.  How many morons do you see tearing up Wallows or running off trail chewing up a hill climb. The president has no power in this or most issues of the like. I'm all about keeping areas open but we need to take a lugwrench to those idiots that make it tough on the rest of us. What part of stay on trail don't they understand.

Did I ever tell you: " I HATE MUD!" ?

I don't see any Public Notice about the closure. That's kind of odd. Just a Stage 1 fire restriction, which happens any dry summer.
