I think the TDMs are sexy, but that luggage would have to go.

Looks like it was scabbed from a BMW R80RT.

They are cool bikes but they suck to work on.  28 (I think it was 28, maybe 26) screws to get the battery out.    I was pretty happy when mine was gone.

I had one and had a heck of time with getting the carb setup right. Scott Studer at the Yamaha shop here in town has one and has had the same problem.

Now, if you could just get your hands on a TDM 900 you'd have a great machine. They never made it here to the states.

Glad it wasnt just me.  They have a really nasty habit of wearing out needles and emulsion tubes.   I finally had mine running right when i sold it but it was a bitch.
