My daughter and I met him at Gillette a few years ago. He was supper gracious to her. Spent a bit of time visiting with her and asking her about riding and gave her a nice little signed poster. I think he said he was a grade school teacher until he was able to ride professionally, hence the nick name.

Watching him throw a bike around blew me away.

I love to see the outakes of these guys dumping these machines on the company dime. There is a video where Chris Birch discusses that.
