Dakota Dual Sport Riders

since it is the time of year for "cheer" anyone interested in getting together for a few beverages one of these nights?   maybe burgers/pizza and beer or any other suggestions?

I'd be interested, but I'm out for this coming Saturday night.

ugh..just back from Belle Foursce and didn't see this.   

So, Fletch and I happen to see each other late this afternoon in downtown RC.  He was riding the 1190 and had the dog and pickup.  We talked at the stop light.
I knew something was going to happen as we turned onto I-190.  Yep, a 1190 can do a wheelie and leave a pickup in his dust.  Fletch later said it was an accident.

Anyway, to the point.  Fletch texted me he was at Minerva's and I was at Running's (We were close to each other).  Se we met for a beer. 

We talked about this thread and hatched a plan.  Let's do a DDSR Christmas Party.

We thought we could get together at Fletch's house.  Everybody can BYOB and bring some sort of food.  We could plan on Friday night or Saturday, but it's a busy time and we might have to do a different night.l  Maybe next year we can get a little more fancy.

So here's the question;  Should we try doing this before Christmas or simply do it after when things are a little slower.  My vote is before, but that's just me.  I'm pretty sure Mike is in for "before Christmas."  We need some input here.  Or, if no one wants to come, Fletch and I will make our own plan!!!!

So give us some ideas.  Thanks

Up to you guys. Dave and I had discussed doing it at my house. I am fine with that. it's not huge, but I can have the garage can be clean and warm by Sat. for overflow.  Otherwise I'm fine with anything: Sickies, McKenzie river, Ale house, etc.

I called Fletch tonight.  He was at Minerva's!  He was working on Party plans.

We decided to have the party at his house this Saturday night.  Probably around 6 or 7 pm.  We will nail the time down soon.

Food / Snacks;  Mike talked about getting some Brats and Hamburgers.  Another idea maybe get one of those 6 foot subs from Subway.  Elisa has money in food fund to buy brats or sub.

Either way if everyone brings some sort of "Party Snacks" that should work.   
And of course, BYOB.

Sue and I had a previous party engagement this Sat night so won't be making it.  Wish we could be there to partake of the dueling stories of Mike and Dave ..... it will be worth the price of admission

Elisa was at Sam's club today and talked to Mike.  She ended up buying brats and other stuff.  Please bring party snacks and your own beer!

Got keys to the new garage (and house) today so more moving tomorrow, but we will be there with the finest store bought party food we can pick up on the way over!

Sounds fun, will try to make it. Worried that the snow will cover the tracks and I might get lost. Lucky for me, my GPS knows all the short cuts.
