This looks like a cool place to explore.

Yes, it's very cool.  Few old cars, home, garage.  You can go inside the house and walk around.  Don't think I'd go upstairs!  I've never been up on the ridge to the east, but I'm told there's stuff up there also.

I need to retire and spend a few months in the Black Hills exploring.

Sadly the old school building collapsed years ago. The color of the wood on the building in the sun was amazing. It shined like gold.

If I remember right just the one house still standing and a few old cars. Still a worthwhile little hike. I wandered around quite a bit and didn't find another area of stuff. Might have to go back out for another look.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190417/75f1f7c84dc5054d959a972b71b2af2b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190417/31b01a1489a5b5bbc8af5e336fd70d57.jpg)

We visited this on one of my bike rides maybe 5 years ago.
