Title: The Black Hills sure beats Iowa for off-road riding!
Post by: TooTall on September 26, 2019, 03:40:50 PM
Relocated to the Black Hills from NW Iowa last summer partially because of the quality of motorcycle riding here compared to corn fields of Iowa.  Have certainly not been disappointed as I discover new and exciting places to explore.  Live about 5 miles west of RC on Nemo Road.

Attended the fall DDSR rally on Friday and got in over 150 miles of scenic riding.  Saw some of my old friends from Iowa  plus got to meet several of the DDSR's.  You've certainly got some interesting names such as Fletch, Great Buffalo, Wacked, etc.  I go by TooTall on here and other riding websites but certainly don't feel tall compared to Iowa's own Sprout.

Anyway, I enjoy all types of riding including single track, dual sport exploring, or adventure riding.  The wife says I need to be riding with someone in case of a breakdown or other.  I should probably take her advice since I'm not getting any younger!  I look forward to participating in more of the group's rides.
