Title: ktm pogo ride
Post by: Dr Psyko on July 04, 2010, 10:36:22 AM
I'm off in Wisconsin visiting family, and my nephew has an 09 530 exe he bought last fall. All of 1500 miles on it now. I rode it and "Wow", quite a lot faster then my KLR! Weird thing though; as you ride along the front end sort of bounces up and down. Kind of oscilates up and down in a 3 to 4 inch range. Tires are about gone, but I'm wondering if the rebound or damping in the front fork (or back?) is off? One thing though, I do now know you KTM guys are cheating when you look so good on the trails!

Dr on the road...

One of my bikes has a bit of a "bounce" to it on account of the rim locks that are installed.  I haven't spent the time to balance them out.
Maybe a poorly trued rim?
3-4" is scary.
