Title: 1991 KTM 600D/XC LC4
Post by: torgo on February 26, 2012, 09:10:09 PM
My brother has a 91 KTM 600D/XC LC4 which he wants to get rid of (read give away).  It is in REALLY good condition and I have ridden it several times.  It runs awesome after you get it started.  He could start it but I usually had to pull it to get it started the first time.

I did some research and it seems like the 88-93 LC4 bikes are in the LOST years.  As of 94 it became the 620 and there is some stuff out there but not much.

What I am looking for is the basics: brake pads, fork seals, air filters, etc...  even these parts seem hard to come by.

Anyone have experience with these bikes?  How similar is it to the later LC4's except for displacement?

Anyone have a service or owners manual around?

Thanks

Wow, I see what you mean. Not a great amount of info out there. I did find quite a bit of stuff on ebay, brakes, sprockets, etc. There are also manuals out there from some of the manual sites.

Good luck
