The KTM Baja's are just sexy.  It' a little bigger than I want but I'd better check it out....


Me: hide from the boss ....  ring/ring/ring
BHHD: ..... "Blah, Blah ...how may I help you?"
Me: "could I talk to someone in used bikes, please?"
BHHD: "any of our sales guys can help you, just a minute."
Me: "thank you" short wait
BHHD: .....  seriously Spivy salesman answers with a voice like he's selling a used convertible to a 23yo female "this is XXXXXX, what can I help you find today?"
Me: "I hear you have a KTM990 there for sale.  What kind of miles are on it and how much are you asking?"
Spivy Man: "we do!  Just a minute, let me find it on my sheet ...."
Me: "not a problem"
Spivy Man: "Hmmmm, Hmmmm," look,look
Me: waiting
Spivy Man: "Hmmmm.  That's a BMW model right?"
Me: "no, KTM is its own thing."
Spivy Man: "oh, yea that's right...."


So Spivy Man couldn't find it on his sheet.  Had to leave my # so he could call me back once he found it.  Short story is that they wholesaled it with 5 other bikes to Sioux Falls this weekend. 

What cracks me up is how myopic these HD "bike" guys are.  I thought it was immensely funny.
