I talked to the guy that was selling his KTM 350exc w a week or so ago.  He lives in the Deadwood area and had a Timbersled attached.  He must have scared himself or something, he said it was a blast to ride, but he ended up in very remote locations.  At one point he realized he "could die out here"  if something went wrong.  So he quit riding it in the snow.

He said as much fun as it was to ride, on groomed trails it was different.  He said you go blasting around a corner and it might be a little icy and down you go.

I think Destination X did a demo weekend with Timbersleds mounted to KTMs in the Big Horns last year...If I see something about it this year I'll post it up.
