This will be the continuation build on my DRZ400sm, I originally purchased my bike in 2013 when my first daughter was born. It was going to be a way for me to slow down on the streets (lean lower wreck slower type thing). I enjoy it on the streets but I really started getting into dual sport riding about the same time and I had only large big bore motorcyles (XB12X, DL1000, Versys) After taking the DRZ400sm offroad for a bit I realized It was a lot more fun on the trail. I already have the motorcycle so I will convert rather than sell it and buy something else.

Parts I have already purchased:
21" 18" wheels
Sedona 907HP tires
Chinese bark busters (smashed and bent after 10 falls)
Yoshimura TRC Titanium exhaust
JD jet kits jets
3x3 mod
Billet Rear rack

Parts ordered and on the way:

Rekluse EXP 3.0 auto clutch
lower links (if it is to low I will just stay stock)
wider foot pegs
47T rear sprocket
Kick start conversion
Folding levers
30mm bar risers

Future parts:

Cutting down stock seat
GPS, and mounts
Cutting board skid plate
Trail tech gauge (a big spill killed my stock one)
Panniers (soft or hard..I have not made up my mind)
Pannier mounts
LED headlight

Sounds like a fun DRZ.  Add a Pumper carb and some drz-e cams next ;)

Son is building klx400se project. He bought a blown up e model for carb and some other parts. When done it will have Big bore, big valves, cams, pumper carb, and wide ratio gears.
Looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
Was hoping he would have it ready for spring rally but not ready.
