Coverage of Dakar 2018 starts 1/7/18 on NBCSN . Time vary it looks like. 7th at 4:30, 8th at 10 pm and the 9th at 4 pm.

So Pay attention to times.

Also you can follow Lyndon Poskitt on Daily vlogs on the Adventure Spec Youtube channel as he tries to win the the Malle Moto division. He took second last year in the most difficult class in the whole Dakar.

Thai will give you an idea what this class in like.

When can I go riding again? Crashing sucks!

I may have been wrong about the channel for Lyndon Poskitt's daily vlog.

It appears it is at his channel; Lyndon Poskitt Racing.

I'm rooting for veterans Svitko and Pain.

Toby Price I think is the favorite to win.

I would like to see Joan Bereda do well this year. He has had back luck, mostly through no fault of his own.

No Africa Twins. The rally is now limited to 450 cc these days. Long gone are the days of the big bikes.

Rooting for Brabec as well, since he's an American and all.  I also think he has a chance to do well as long as he keeps his head on straight.

This video shows how brutal and unpredictable the Dakar can be.
