Hi all, I am new to this site and hoping to get some feedback on the area.
We are planning a camping trip to the Black Hills area in July of this year.  We want to find a camping place for tenting and would like an area where we can quad and ride dirt bikes right from our camp site.  Also would be nice to be somewhat central so we can also do some sightseeing while we're there.
Spent some time looking at camp sites in the area online and there are plenty but don't really know where the best trails are.
Seems like the Nemo or Deadwood area are pretty nice.
Also can you ride both ATV's and dirt bikes on the same trails?
Thanks for your help.  :)

Yes you can ride dirt bikes and atvs on the same trails, as long as it's not motorcycle only trail.  Otherwise yes, but the dirt bike and atvs should be legally licensed if you get off the trails and onto gravel roads.  If not, you just need to be a little careful on where you go.

Yes, Nemo and Deadwood areas are good.  Depending on what type of campground your looking for.  Nemo Guest Ranch has camping and trails nearby.  Fish n Fry Campground is closer to Lead/Deadwood and also has trails nearby.  If your looking for a little more remote, just west of Nemo is a BHNF campground called Boxelder Forks Campground.  It's very small (13 sites) and nice.  Also in the same area towards the northeast is Dalton Lake, it's also remote and small.

All campgrounds mentioned above have tent camping.  Just depends if you want showers or not.  Good Luck!
