If you are using the X-grip, the goofy rubber tether they give you is there for a reason

That's weird, I never had a problem with mine either until last Saturday. Got gas at Nemo and lost the phone at 30 mph on Vanocker Road. Stopped turned around, a Harley almost ran it over, picked it up, it was fine.
