Its just another KTM under different clothes. At least when HD redresses the same ole dog they keep the same name plate. I guess don't get the shell game. The shell may be different but the nut is still the same. The thinner Pierer spreads themselves to more the reports of poor quality control.

That being said, I do like the look of the new shell.

I get it from a marketing standpoint, save production costs by using the same components. Most car manufacturers do it on a smaller scale (the cruise control "stalk" in my Toyota is the same as in my Dodge). Same thing HD did back in the day with their smaller bikes. I'm sure it is just part of the plan for one day KTM to rule the motorcycle world!!    HAHA..hahaha...ha ......ha......
