I am trying to find some info on a scavenger motorcycle race in central South Dakota around this time of the year. I can't remember where or who puts on this event. I was thinking it was sometime in March. Anyone have any info.

Another fun event is the Grand Tour. It starts April 1st & goes until September 15th. This years theme,
An Affair With Water has you finding towns with one of the approved, 17, words in it's name. The name must be on a building. Take a picture of the building, the bike you're riding, & your Rally Flag.
My wife & I are the Rallymasters for the Grand Tour. We're taking entries now.

It looks like you guys put on some good events. You will see us up there. Do you have a place for a toyhauler to camp for the weekend during your events.

That shouldn't be a problem. The club grounds has plenty of room to camp too.

some folks camp in my lawn, some folks camp in Bob Johnsons lawn, Some folks get hotels, others get spots at one of the many local campgrounds. Camping is easy. Keep up on GLMC events at http://www.glmc.org
The barn Bike Enduro is coming up later this summer. Its anotehr timed enduro on minimum maintenance roads, with 'challenges' at each checkpoint. Things like a hill climb, moto cross, 'service challenge', fuel economy run, cooking food on the bike, 'bikes of burden', etc. The riders are not told what the challenges are. Some may give the edge to a street bike, others may give an edge to a dirtbike.
   Just keep an eye on the GLMC.org site and the Barn forum and you'll be up on things just fine. The Popcycle Derby was a BLAST. Ya'all should have come up for it.
