Just thinkin' here...anyone up for a quick alaska trip summer 2012?  Alcan up, ferry back to Seattle, head home from there? Depart right after rally. or we can call it the 'after rally DDSR alaska rally'.

i was just talking to my wife about what my big trip for next year should be. I think we should have some discussion on this. I need to review some of the ride reports to recollect the time frame, cost and suppplies needed. sounds like a great idea!

I'd be up for discussion but will be unsure on finances for a couple of months yet. I have to have surgery and unsure how long I will be out of work. It also depends on where I go skiing this winter and how much that will cost me.

Well I'd love to go, but it won't be happening next year or the next few years.   Someday though!

For now I'll have to live vicariously through whoever is lucky enough to do this, so take a lot of pictures!
