Here's some info for one of my other favorite yearly rides.

It's one real fun trail ride.  Motorcycles are only allowed on the trails twice a year, otherwise it's for horses.  The Golden Eagles are real nice folks and treat the area well.  There's a pancake breakfast in the morning and merriment in the evening.
I first went on my KLR and had a good time while depending on some of my riding buddies for a push a time or two.  The next year was the DRZ400.  This year hopefully the GasGas.
Obviously, there's something for everyone.  It's a blast.
