Snowmobile conditions in the hills

How are the trail conditions in the hills? The SD site shows poor to fair
And just wondered what what you guys out there thought. We were thinking
Of running out next week.

We haven't had a lot of snow yet, so I would assume that "fair conditions" would be a good assessment.  Actually I was thinking about renting a snow machine sometime this winter for a day.  Thought it would be fun if several of us went out snowmobiling into our summer stomping grounds.

We have been out riding the last two days.   Around deer mtn the conditions were poor to fair and around roughlock I'd say fair to good in some areas.  Sounds like it's worse farther south.

Son has another week off collage but I think we'll wait
